History:This beautiful Baroque column topped with a statue of St. John of Nepomuk was created in the local village square sometime during the first half of the 18th century by an author unknown to me. The column was restored in 1802, but after the displacement of the indigenous population at the end of World War II it was no longer maintained and gradually fell into disrepair. Eventually, however, it was restored in 2012 by Ivan Hamáček.
