History:This monument was created in memory of the fallen men from this village in World War I. The monument was created by an unknown to me artist during the 1920s or 1930s. After the removal of the German population at the end of World War II, the monument ceased to be maintained and gradually fell into disrepair. The original memorial plaques were destroyed at this time and replaced with plaques commemorating the victims of World War II. Sometime during the 1990s or in the first two decades of the 21st century, the memorial was reconstructed to its current form as a memorial to the victims of World War I and World War II.
Impressions:A simple monument, about which I have not found much information.
