History:This baroque column was created by an unknown author in 1722, according to the date on the base, and was erected in the village of Krbice. According to the monument catalogue, this column was erected during the second half of the 18th century. Anyway, the column was conceived in a very untypical way for the local area, in such a way that the column is topped with a cross and in front of the column there is a statue of Our Lady of Sorrows. Unfortunately, the village of Krbice was affected by brown coal mining during the second half of the 20th century, so in order to save this column, it was moved in 1973 to its present location and on that occasion it was restored by the restorer Michael Bílek. Subsequently, this column gradually came down, and so it lived to see its restoration again in 2014 by restorer Michael Bílek.
