History:These resting stones were created for pilgrims to rest on their journeys. This stone was erected 2 km south of the village of Spořice in what used to be called Herrenteich bei Thor. According to Wilhelm's record from 1906, the year 1583 appears on this cross, which could be the year this resting stone was created. The next year he mentions is 1870, but I don't know what it means anymore. Maybe it means some kind of moving or restoration of the stone. During the second half of the 20th century this resting stone was lost, and then in 2007 it was found and moved to its present location in the open-air museum Stará Ves in Chomutov. The stone is 63 cm high, 158 cm wide and 50 cm thick in diameter.

Impressions:An interesting resting stone that is probably the oldest preserved in the area. It is a pity that we do not know who made it, as with the other resting stones.
