History:This memorial was created in memory of the fallen men in World War I. The memorial was created by an artist unknown to me, probably during the 1920s or 1930s. Unfortunately, after the removal of the German population at the end of World War II, this monument was no longer maintained and gradually fell into disrepair. It was even destroyed, and only the pedestal remains. Thanks to the collector of period photographs Josef Kratochvil, this monument could be restored to its original beauty. The top statue was created by sculptor Václav Korb in 2014 as a replica of the original statue and the monument was unveiled on 15 August 2014.
