History:This Baroque column topped with a sculpture of the Holy Trinity was created by an unknown artist in 1713. The column was created as a way of giving thanks that the last plague that struck Bohemia in that year avoided this town. The column received its first restoration in 1875 and then in 1909. After the end of World War II and the displacement of the original population, the column ceased to be maintained and gradually fell into disrepair. However, it was finally restored sometime in the 1990s. While the top of the column is decorated with a sculpture of the Holy Trinity, the base of the column is decorated with statues of St. Florian, St. Sebastian and an archangel. In this form, the column has been preserved to the present day and is thus a dominant feature of the local square.
