History:This beautiful Baroque statue was commissioned by Wentzel Lancka on 27 October 1741. The sculpture was created by K. Waitzmann in the same year. The statue was erected in the village of Milžany. Unfortunately, this village had to give way to lignite mining during the second half of the 20th century. Fortunately, however, the statue was rescued and transported in the 1960s to a depository in Vysočany, from where it finally reached its present location in 1976. Here it was restored in 1977 by Karel Pauzer and Bořivoj Rak. The statue was restored for the last time in 2011 by Michael Bílek.
