History:This beautiful Baroque statue of St. John of Nepomuk was created by Johann Vetter in 1723. The statue was erected in the village of Tušimice in the field in front of the church. Unfortunately, the village of Tušimice was destroyed in the course of lignite mining, so the statue was saved and transferred to its present location in Strupčice in 1977 and restored by Karel Pauzer and Bořivoj Rak as part of the transfer. The statue received its last restoration in 2014, when it was restored by Michael Bílek.
