History:Originally, a Baroque statue of St. John of Nepomuk was created on this site. The statue was created by an unknown artist in 1732. The present Baroque chapel with a bell tower was built around the statue during the second half of the 18th century. After the removal of the German population at the end of World War II, this chapel was no longer maintained and gradually fell into disrepair. Eventually, however, it was restored, either in the 1990s or in the first two decades of the 21st century.
