History:This interesting stone, perhaps baroque, cross was created sometime during the second half of the 18th century or in the first half of the 19th century, as it is not yet recorded on the map of the 1st military mapping from 1764 - 1768, but it is already recorded on the cadastral map from 1824 - 1843. The cross was created on a high pedestal with a relief of a saint. Interestingly, a 3 000-year-old Bronze Age depot was found near the cross in 1907, weighing 42 kg and containing weapons, jewellery and coins. We do not know who or why this treasure was stored here, but what is certain is that this treasure can now be seen in the Teplice Museum and is one of the largest depots in Bohemia. In any case, after the German population was expelled at the end of World War II, the cross was no longer maintained and gradually fell into disrepair and was probably destroyed. Finally, however, it was reconstructed in 2014 and in 2015 the surrounding area was rebuilt.
