History:This picturesque Baroque column topped with a statue of the Virgin Mary was created in 1706 at the expense of the local master baker Jan Jindřich Benedikt Schmidel. The column was unveiled on 16 May 1706. In 1864, the column was renovated, but it has retained its original picturesque appearance to the present day.
