History:This memorial was created in memory of the fallen men from this village who died in World War I. The memorial was created by an artist unknown to me probably sometime during the 1920s or 1930s. After the removal of the German population at the end of World War II, the monument ceased to be maintained and gradually fell into disrepair. The memorial plaque was probably destroyed at this time. To this day, the monument has been preserved in a dilapidated state, where the remnants of the surviving inscriptions are very difficult to read, although they are rather illegible.
Impressions:A simple monument that has survived to the present day despite a period of devastation.
