History:Krásný Dvoreček (German: Klein Schönhof) is a small village located about 1 km west of Rokle. The original name of the settlement was Krásný Dvůr, but to distinguish it from the nearby Krásný Dvůr, a diminutive of the name came into use. In historical sources, the name appears in the following forms: Schonhof (1368), in the village of Malym Krasny Dworzeczek (1589), Schönhof (1787) or Klein-Schönhof (1854).The first written mention of the village dates back to 1368, when the townsman Martin Schonhoff of Kadan sold the local court. Further reports date back to the 15th and 16th centuries, when the village belonged to the townspeople of Kadan. In the last quarter of the 16th century, the Lords of Lobkowitz acquired Krásný Dvoreček or a part of it, but in 1590 Jiří Popel of Lobkowitz sold it to the town of Kadani, which added it to its Milžany estate. The purchase contract mentions a tavern and the patronage of the local church of St. Wolfgang, which collapsed in the early 1880s due to neglected maintenance. From then on, the locals had to go to the church in Želina. The Chapel of Our Lady was built in the village square in the middle of the 19th century. After the abolition of serfdom, Krásný Dvoreček became a local part of Rokle as soon as in 1850. In 1911, electricity was introduced to the village. In the 1920s, Hermann Tschochner tried to open a limestone quarry and lime plant somewhere in the area between Krásný Dvoreček and Rokle, but the business was unprofitable and soon closed down. Before the Second World War there was a shop, a newsagent and two inns, but after the displacement of the German inhabitants, despite the partial resettlement of Czechs, the services could not be restored. So while in 1930 there were 114 inhabitants, in 1950 there were 51 inhabitants.
