History:Originally, there was a baroque column with a statue of the Virgin Mary or the Passion of God, which was created in 1697 by an unknown author. In 1862, this column was restored at the expense of an unknown author, as his name is illegible to me. As late as 1929, the picture still shows this divine torment. Probably after the expulsion of the German population at the end of World War II, the column was toppled and destroyed. Thus, only the stone base has survived, on which the present cast-iron cross was placed in the 1990s or in the first twenty years of the 21st century.
